A very busy October!

October was quite a month for our little Alexander!  We were so busy that we did not have time to update the blog with all of the our activities and milestones, so this post will include a lot of photos!  Alexander turned four months on September 30, and never looked back.  At four months, Alexander weighed in at 13 lbs 3 oz (20%), and measured 26 inches long (85%).  He is growing well!

"Toes!"  Alexander really loves chewing on his toes.

Alexander now loves his tummy time, and even requests it!  He will occasionally roll to his back, but he mainly works on pushing up high with his arms or pulling his legs underneath him.

Alexander has lots of fun during his playdates with William.  They debate the importance of naps and share all their new tricks!

Like many Cardinals fans, Alexander was disappointed that the redbirds did not make it to the World Series.  But as Cubs fans always say, there is always next year!

Alexander has started to eat "solid" foods - he loves eating oatmeal and also enjoys squash!

In early October, we took a road trip to St. Louis where Alexander got to hang out with Grammie, Pops and GG, and he got to meet more of the Stromberg family and friends, including Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Stromberg!

The fun St. Louis trip was followed by a vacation to Naples, Florida, where Alexander played with all of his grandparents and enjoyed warm weather.  The Naples trip was filled with "firsts" for Alexander- his first plane ride, his first time swimming in a pool, and his first time eating solids (yummy oatmeal!).

Alexander was great on his first flight!  He slept through most of it, which made his mom very happy!

End of the week: Alexander was happily splashing about in the pool.

While deep sea fishing, Allison caught a 25 lb King Mackerel.   Dinner is served!

Grammie and Pops also came to Naples to soak up the sun and quality time with Alexander.

Thanks Gran and Grandpa Ross for having us visit Florida!  We are excited to go back in December :)
