Vacation Time!

Before William's early arrival created all sorts of excitement, Alexander enjoyed his very first vacation!  Grammie and Pops rented a wonderful lake house in Union Pier, Michigan, for a relaxing getaway with the family.  We had so much fun - Alexander has decided he likes vacations, and would like to take more of them. 

Uncle Nick and Aunt Kaori had live lobsters delivered to the house for dinner one night.  Allison faced conflicting instincts: does she run away from the scary lobsters, or does she stay and protect her baby from these sea monsters?  In what may be her greatest display of motherly love thus far, Allison put herself between the lobsters and Alexander - fortunately, no one was harmed.

Alexander loved hanging out with Uncle Nick and Aunt Kaori again! 

While Grammie, Alexander and Allison explored Union Pier, Pops, LeRoy, Nick and Kaori set sail on Lake Michigan in search of dinner.  LeRoy was very proud to provide food for his family to eat. 

Nick also had a successful fishing trip!

Alexander is all ready for his first trip to the beach!  His bat suit is specially designed to protect his fair skin from the sun, but we mainly like it because it is cute and silly.

Alexander loved napping on the beach in the tent.  It was a perfect set up!

Alexander got his toes in Lake Michigan!

Gran and Grandpa Ross joined the Strombergs on vacation for a few days.  Alexander enjoyed having all of his grandparents together- he got so much attention!
