Catching Up with Alexander

It's been awhile since we have updated the blog, and there are so many events to catch up on!  Alexander is now 7 1/2 months old and he is doing great.  He has been crawling up a storm and can now sit up all by himself!  Our happy boy loves to laugh and smile, but is still not too fond of sleeping.  Allison went back to work in November, and so far things have been going well.  It is hard to leave our little man every morning, but he gives us the biggest smile when we come home every evening.

Here are some pictures from big events over the past couple of months :)  You can see that he is growing up quickly!

Happy Halloween!  I was a Lil' Monster.  You cannot tell from the photo, but I had fun going to houses and asking for candy!

When she thought my parents weren't looking, Gran dressed me up in one of mommy's old costumes.  I make a cute pumpkin :)

God Bless Alexander!  Alexander was baptized on November 18 and was so lucky to have his family there to celebrate with him.  A special thank you to Godmother Megan and Godfather Andrew!

Here the wolf pack convenes a meeting to discuss important topics such as milk, teething toys and world peace.

Figuring out how to crawl is hard work.  It involved a lot of face plants, but he got the hang of it with a little practice!

We had so many things to be thankful for this year!

At Christmas time, Alexander met Santa and Mrs. Claus!  He told them he was a very good boy this year, even though he does not like naps or eating his peas.  He must have been good; he got lots of presents!

After Christmas, it was time for fun in the sun in Florida!  Alexander had an ear infection during the first part of the trip, but recovered in time to splash in the pool and rock his sunshades.

Alexander and William had daily stroller races - first one to fall asleep was the winner winner chicken dinner!

Alexander had a great time playing with William!  And William was full of smiles and giggles, even when Alexander tried to eat his toes :)

Back in Chicago, Alexander loves going to the park and playing on the swings, even when it is cold!
